On Tuesday The princess of Barbados was in Lisbon, and acted just like that a conceited brat!
Show was announced at 19:30 but it was not before an hour later that the GTAs appeared on stage as an opening act. They played for over an hour (some stage manager appeared twice requesting to be extended in time) going over some of their known hits that not of us were familiar with some of the old and remastered version of the euritmics ("sweet dreams").
And then we waited some more... Every time the crowd would cheer and whistle in signs of protest, the music would grow louder. At this point I can say I was truly sorry for all the little girls all dressed up waiting in illusion for their idol.
Particularly the cutie in the row in front of us. She couldn't have been older than 7 years old and she was super excited to be in the show , waving a little paper round she has prepared that she was super proud of:
When she finally appeared in stage about 3 hours later, she had severe issues with the volume of the mic, astonishing lack of motivation to bring a more than spectacular show onto stage considering the delay (not even a apology shown) and I am most definitely some lip syncing involved considering her voice did not change at all even though she was dancing ... STRANGE !!!!
What's the worst things: so many mums and young kids left before the show started as well as so many that fell asleep and complete missed the show.
In any case, her best known hits were played in the last part of the show, finishing at 22:30 , making this a little over an hour of concert !!! Shame shame shame !!!
